• BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit.

• Appropriate Use of Force and/or Weapons of Mass Destruction Certification.
• Powers to Arrest Certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Route Vulnerability Assessment and Adjustment: Perform thorough route reconnaissance to identify vulnerabilities, proactively adjusting plans to mitigate risks while ensuring a seamless experience for the client/principal.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Maintain situational awareness to identify potential threats and implement proactive security measures, remaining calm under pressure to keep the client unaware of risks or plan changes.
• Area and Location Awareness: Leverage extensive knowledge of the local regions to optimize safety and adjust to changing environments dynamically.
• Armed Protection: Provide secure armed protection for high-profile individuals and properties, responsibly carrying and operating firearms in compliance with all applicable laws and maintaining readiness through regular training and qualification.
• Surveillance and Monitoring: Stay vigilant by monitoring your surroundings, identifying risks, and taking preemptive actions to neutralize potential threats.
• Advance Work: Conduct detailed site assessments, route planning, and logistical coordination to facilitate safe and seamless transitions between locations.
• Emergency Response Coordination: Act decisively in high-pressure situations, managing security breaches, medical emergencies, or active threats with tactical precision to ensure client safety.
• Collaborate with Law Enforcement: Serve as the point of contact for local authorities, ensuring a coordinated response during emergencies or complex scenarios.
• Security Operations Management: Oversee on-site security needs, secure travel routes, and provide comprehensive protection for events or high-risk locations.
• Confidentiality and Discretion: Uphold the highest standards of privacy, handling sensitive information and interactions with high-profile clients with professionalism and discretion.
• Flexible Scheduling: Adapt to dynamic schedules and changing security needs, ensuring availability and readiness at all times.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with other security personnel, operational teams, and law enforcement to provide seamless and comprehensive protection.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience : Minimum of 6+ years in relevant military, law enforcement, executive protection, or personal security roles. 1+ years of driving experience.
• Certifications :

  • BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit
  • Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW/LEOSA/HR218)
  • Appropriate Use of Force or Weapons of Mass Destruction Certification
  • Powers to Arrest Certification
  • First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification for Adults, Children, and Infants
• Emergency Vehicle Operations Course ( EVOC )
• Advanced Certifications : Preferred certifications in executive protection, tactical firearms training, and defensive driving.
• Risk and Threat Management : Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, threat mitigation, defensive tactics, and situational awareness to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Conflict Resolution and De-escalation : Proven proficiency in conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and emergency response, with a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Physical and Mental Readiness : High physical fitness, mental resilience, and the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Communication Skills :
  • Strong verbal and written communication for transparent reporting and effective interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders. 
  • Ensures precise, concise, and professional communication in all interactions and documentation.
• Reporting Proficiency : Demonstrated skill in creating thorough, accurate reports to document incidents, observations, and activities that support client needs.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:  

• Knowledge of Local Laws and Regulations: Comprehensive understanding of California laws governing private security and firearms use, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations during all operations.
• Advanced Training & Certifications: Proficient in defensive driving techniques and emergency medical response, including certifications such as Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and Emergency Medical Responder (EMR). Completed specialized courses, including Unarmed Combat, VEH (Vehicle Escape Handling), MOT (Motorcade Operations Training), and HSPD (High-Speed Pursuit Driving).
• Prior Law Enforcement and/or Military Experience: Extensive background in law enforcement or military service, providing expertise in security protocols, tactical operations, and disciplined decision-making.
• Emotional Intelligence & Conflict Resolution: Demonstrated ability to remain composed, empathetic, and professional in high-stress situations while effectively de-escalating conflicts to ensure safety and client satisfaction.
• Cultural Sensitivity & Adaptability: Skilled in interacting with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds while adjusting seamlessly to changing schedules, environments, and operational needs.
• Technological Proficiency: Expertise in utilizing security technologies such as surveillance systems, communication tools, sensors, and alarms to enhance situational awareness and protection measures.
• Environmental Awareness: Strong understanding of property layouts, area vulnerabilities, and surroundings to deliver comprehensive security coverage and proactive risk management.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipates challenges and implements practical solutions to maintain operational efficiency and uninterrupted client protection.
