Job Description

Position: Director of Marketing

Are you an experienced marketing leader with a passion for driving growth? We're looking for a Director of Marketing to join our Executive team and lead the strategy that fuels our expansion. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a modern, fast-growing firm that specializes in alternative investments across various asset classes, including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Private Debt, and traditional equity and fixed income portfolios. Additionally, we provide wealth management, business management, tax, and insurance services.

As the Director of Marketing, you'll play a key role in shaping and executing our marketing strategy. Your work will be focused on driving assets under management, working closely with financial advisors, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You'll be at the forefront of developing effective marketing plans, both for the firm and for individual advisors.

About the Role:

Location: Century City, Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
Full-time, Exempt position
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior leadership to create and implement growth strategies for the organization.
Set clear, measurable marketing goals and deliverables, ensuring they align with business objectives and are achieved on time.
Develop and execute marketing plans within a highly regulated industry, ensuring all materials and campaigns meet legal and compliance standards.
Serve as the marketing lead for all financial advisors, helping them build and implement their own marketing strategies.
Drive digital marketing initiatives, including email marketing, social media, SEO, lead generation, and website optimization, to support advisor growth.
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing objectives that align with business goals.
Focus on targeting the right market segments and unique value propositions.
Manage resources effectively to maximize return on investment.
Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media efforts.
Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
Lead external communications, including press releases, blogs, articles, web content, social media messaging, and more.
Maintain consistent communication with the team to keep everyone aligned with company goals and priorities.
Stay up-to-date with emerging marketing trends, tools, and industry developments.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe, with strong marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making skills.
In-depth knowledge of SEO, SEM, inbound marketing tools, and web management.
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, and other digital marketing tools.
Understanding of SEC marketing regulations (or willingness to learn).
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service.
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail abilities.
Problem-solving and analytical thinking, with the ability to adapt to evolving market conditions.
Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and work closely with an executive team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or similar software).

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 7 years of marketing and digital marketing experience.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Successful completion of background checks and pre-employment assessments.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
