Oncology Veterinary Technician

About the role: We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our oncology team. The ideal candidate is a quick thinker, thrives under pressure, and has experience with oncology procedures and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor chemotherapy, following safety protocols. 
• Track patient vitals and provide supportive care during treatment. 
• Collect and process lab samples (blood, urine, etc.). 
• Assist with diagnostic imaging (X-rays, CT, MRI). 
• Educate and support pet owners on treatment and home care. 
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor recovery. 
• Maintain detailed medical records and treatment logs. 
• Manage inventory and maintain oncology equipment. 
• Follow strict infection control protocols. 
• Collaborate closely with veterinary team for patient care.

Qualifications:

• Certification: RVT preferred 
• Experience: 1-2 years in veterinary medicine

Schedule:

• Mon-Wed and Sat or Sun
• Full-Time

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $26 - $34/ hr
